Women’s Chamber of Commerce Announces 2017 Giraffe Awards Nominees
WEST PALM BEACH – The Women’s Chamber has announced its 2017 Giraffe Awards Nominees. The Giraffe Awards will take place on March 30 at the Kravis Center to recognize women in Palm Beach County who have “Stuck Their Necks Out” for other women in the community.
This year the Chamber received 21 nominations. The official list of Giraffe nominees can be found here.
Now in its 22nd year, the Chamber’s celebration begins with a Kick-Off Networking Mixer at the Chesterfield Hotel Palm Beach on March 2 at 5:30 p.m., followed by a Women’s History Month Proclamation on March 14 at 9:00 a.m. in the Commission Chambers, Robert Weisman Governmental Center, 6th Floor, 301 N Olive Avenue. An invitation-only VIP Reception will take place at the beautiful Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens at 5:30 p.m. on March 16, and closing out the month is the Giraffe Awards Luncheon and expo on March 30 at 11:00 a.m., where “we celebrate exceptional women in our community,” says Chamber President Heather Gray.
The Chamber is pleased to announce that Emmy Award-Winning TV news veteran, Toni May, is the event’s emcee, and Alyson Seligman, President of the SBS Agency, is the event’s speaker.
