LINK Programs

What is LINK?

Purpose: The Women’s Chamber Foundation’s LINK program is a collaborative initiative between the Foundation and institutions of higher learning that provides a “link” between college students and the business community. Through LINK, the Foundation serves its members by providing mentoring opportunities, serves students by coordinating professional development workshops, and serves employers by “linking” them to career ready, locally educated college graduates looking for employment in Palm Beach County.

Objective: To equip students with the skills that cannot be gained from the classroom but from the insight and resources of the professional community including members of the Women’s Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County. With local colleges and universities, LINK seeks to

  • provide networking opportunities with Chamber members and members of the business community,
  • provide opportunities to attend professional development workshops and seminars with experts, and
  • provide access to internships and employment opportunities as students prepare to transition to the business world.

Goal:  To positively impact the availability of locally educated, talented, and well-trained graduates from area colleges and universities and “link” them with Palm Beach County employers.
